John R. (Hi) Sierra

John R. (Hi) Sierra, Jr., specializes in the permitting, engineering and development of large master-planned developments. Mr. Sierra began his real estate career in 1974 with Criterion Corporation. Over the past 40+ years, Mr. Sierra has also been involved in various vertical construction projects, such as multi-family apartments, commercial buildings, warehouses and luxury homes. In all, Mr. Sierra has been involved in the development of over 5,000 home sites throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Included in the list of developments Mr. Sierra has worked on are Avila, Buckhorn, Boyette Springs, Lakeview Village, Bloomington Hills, and Meadow Pointe. Mr. Sierra is a licensed real estate broker and previous owner of Avila Realty.

Mr. Sierra’s most recent project was Sunset Lakes, a luxury residential lakefront community located in south Pasco County with homes ranging from $425,000 to $1,000,000 plus. Mr. Sierra is also working with the rest of his family on Cypress Creek Town Center.
